According to the Dungeons & Dragons Monster Manual, the tarrasque is pretty much immortal, having been brought into existence by ancient forgotten gods to punish all of nature. Therefore to defeat it is required something equally horrific and unearthly. You know, like a My Little Pony.
My son just turned 18 and for the life of him couldn't decide what theme he wanted for his cake, so for the past two months I've been threatening to make him a My Little Pony. He was not impressed. Eventually he handed me his D&D Monster Manual and said I should pick a creature from in there, and this is what I came up with. As per my usual, the cake is vegan chocolate with fondant and gum paste. This was my first time airbrushing a cake, and I don't think I did *too* horrible a job of it.
Apologies for not making any *specific* MLP. No cutie mark or anything.
Also, due to a little lack of foresight in scale I was unable to remove the poor cake from the butcher paper to a properly prepared tray, because I lacked a tray large enough to accommodate it!
